I started out with an excellent small provider, f2s, but after various buy-outs I've ended up as a TalkTalk customer. Since this happened I've had numerous dropped connections and missing emails and the connection speed is generally slower. The staff seem to have no Mac expertise - when I contact them I'm told my computer or email programme is at fault. In my opinion, to be avoided.

I've been with TalkTalk for my broadband for many years now and a little longer for my telephone. I have two Macs running effortlessly plus a PC and an Xbox running live multiplayer gaming and a PS3. I am a serious online gamer. I don't do any large downloads (pirated movies, games or music for instance). It's been great for me.

TalkTalk Broadband!
they say its free with your telephone line rental which it is, they say to give you unlimited download MAY BE but here is the catch if your bandwidth goes over 5 GIG within a week they will limit your broadband speed.

i used to get 800kb download and now the max i get is 100kb so they cant tell me that its my local!

if you are a havey user of internet then stay away from TalkTalk but if you just check your emails and browse few website then may its for you.

I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THEM :(

I really don't understand why you would include Talk Talk on this list. Talk Talk/Tiscali staff have no MAC training whatsoever and when you the link between the MAC and the broadband won't work they simply, through sheer ignorance, blame the MAC and tell you there is a problem with your MAC and you need to engage an apple technician. A quick websearch will show you that countless otherrs have had the same experience. My advice is STEER CLEAR of Tiscali/Talk Talk. They are incompetent, unhelpful and rude.
